SG3524N and SG3524 integrate all the functions needed to build a regulating power supply, inverter, or switching regulator on a single chip. They can also be used as control elements for high power output applications. SG2524 and SG3524 are designed for polar switching regulators with fixed frequency, pulse width modulation (PWM) technology, transformer-coupled DC-DC converters, transformer-less voltage doublers and polarity converter applications. Complementary output allows single-ended or push-pull applications. Each device includes an on-chip regulator, an error amplifier, a programmable oscillator, a pulse control trigger, two unspecified pass-through transistors, a high-gain comparator, and current limiting and turn-off circuits.
