SMD2420-001 Overview
In order to protect the photodiodes against damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in CSMD packages. The maximum voltage that the photodiodes can tolerate in reverse-biased mode is 50V over a continuous period of time. A reverse-bias photodiode shouldn't exceed 50V continuously in reverse-bias mode. A photodiode is equipped with 2 pins. During the operation of a circuit, photodiodes can release 125mW heat. When photodiodes operate, they should not be subjected to temperatures higher than 125°C. However, the minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes should be set to -55°C. In the case of photodiodes, the reverse anode voltage should be 50V. In the absence of light input, a photodiode produces 5nA current.
