The high-performance ARM?Cortex?-M3 32-bit RISC core, operating at a 36 MHz frequency, high-speed embedded memories (Flash memory up to 128 Kbytes and SRAM up to 16 Kbytes), and a wide variety of enhanced peripherals and I/Os connected to two APB buses are all included in the STM32F101VBT6 medium-density access line. Each device includes three general-purpose 16-bit clocks, two I2Cs, two SPIs, and up to three USARTs as well as one 12-bit ADC. The STM32F101VBT6 medium-density access line family runs between a power supply of 2.0 and 3.6 V and a temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. The development of low-power applications is made possible by a wide range of power-saving modes.
The medium-density access line family STM32F101VBT6 consists of four distinct packages with a pin count ranging from 36 to 100. Different sets of peripherals are included depending on the device selected; the description that follows provides an overview of the whole spectrum of peripherals that are suggested for this family.
