TEMD1000 Overview

The photodiodes are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) to prevent damage. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in SMD/SMT packages for safety purposes. As long as the photodiodes are operated continuously in reverse-bias mode, the maximum voltage they can tolerate is 60V. When the photodiodes are reverse-biased, the voltage should never exceed 60V. A photodiode has a pin number of 2. There is a possibility that photodiodes could release 75mW heat within a circuit. During the operation of photodiodes, the temperature should not exceed 85°C. However, the photodiodes should be operated at a minimum temperature of -40°C. A reverse anode voltage of 60V should be applied to the photodiodes. Photodiodes generally release 75mW heat when connected in a circuit. DC photodiodes can work properly under reverse voltages of 60V in the DC circuit. Photodiodes are supposed to operate at 1V voltage. In the absence of light input, a photodiode produces a 1nA current.
