TEMD1040 Overview
To prevent damage, the photodiodes are packaged in a Cut Tape (CT). For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in SMD/SMT packages. In reverse-bias mode, the voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 60V continuously. 2 pins are present on the photodiodes. A circuit made up of photodiodes could release heat 75mW. A reverse anode voltage of 60V should be applied to the photodiodes. A circuit should have a maximum heat release rate of 75mW from the photodiodes. If your DC circuit has a reverse voltage of 60V, the photodiodes will work properly. Photodiodes require an electric potential of 1.3V in order to conduct current. Despite the absence of light input, a photodiode generates 1nA electrical current.
