TEMD7000X01 Overview

In order to protect these photodiodes from damage, they are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in 0805 (2012 Metric) packages. It is recommended to set the reverse-bias mode for the photodiodes to not exceed 60V on a continuous basis. A photodiode is equipped with 2 pins. During a circuit, the photodiodes could release 215mW heat. A reverse anode voltage of 60V should be applied to the photodiodes. In general, the maximum heat generated by photodiodes should be 215mW in a circuit. If the reverse voltage is 60V, the photodiodes can operate properly in the DC circuit. The voltage needed to get current to flow across a photodiode should be 1V. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 1nA current.
