TPS2421-2DDAR belongs to the family of 5-A, 20-V integrated FET hot swap. Highly integrated hot swap power management and superior protection are provided by it in applications where the load is powered by buses up to 20 V. It is embedded in an 8-pin PowerPad? SO-8 package for power saving. This device is well suited for systems where a voltage bus must be protected to prevent shorts from interrupting or damaging the unit. TPS2421-2DDAR provides a suite of programmable protection features, including load protection, current dual thresholds, and more.
