The TPS5430DDAR is a high-output-current PWM converter with a high-side N-channel MOSFET with low resistance. A high-performance voltage error amplifier provides tight voltage regulation accuracy under transient conditions; an undervoltagelockout circuit prevents start-up until the input voltage reaches 5.5 V; an internally set slow-start circuit to limit inrush currents; and a voltage feedforward circuit to improve transient response are all included on the substrate with the listed features. Shutdown supply current is normally decreased to 18A via the ENA pin.
? Internal Compensation Reduces the Number of External Parts
? Switching Frequency of 500 kHz for Small Filter Size
? Input Voltage Feed Forward improves line regulation and transient response.
? Overcurrent limiting, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown protect the system.
? Consumer Electronics: Set-top Boxes, DVD Players, and LCD Monitors
? Audio Power Supplies for Industry and Automobiles
? Chargers for batteries and high-power LED lighting
? Distributed Power Systems (12-V/24-V)
