TPS62130RGTR Discription
The TPS6213x series is an easy-to-use synchronous buck DC-DC converter optimized for high power density applications. Usually a high switching frequency of 2.5 MHz allows the use of small inductors and provides fast transient response and high output voltage accuracy through the use of DCS-Control topologies.
These devices have a wide operating input voltage range of 3 V to 17 V and are ideal for systems powered by lithium-ion or other batteries and 12 V intermediate power rails. They support continuous output currents of up to 3mura at output voltages between 0.9 V and 6 V (100% duty cycle mode). The output voltage start ramp is controlled by soft start pins and is allowed to run as a stand-alone power supply or in a tracking configuration. Power sequencing can also be achieved by configuring good pins for enable and open-drain power supplies.
In power-saving mode, the device receives a static current of about 17 microamperes from the VIN. Power-saving mode, if the load is small, enter automatically and seamlessly, and maintain high efficiency throughout the load range. In turn-off mode, the device is turned off, and the turn-off current consumption is less than 2 microA.
The device is available in adjustable and fixed output voltage versions and is packaged in a 16-pin VQFN package with a size of 3 mm × 3 mm (RGT).
