UVG100 Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in DIP packages. The maximum voltage that the photodiodes can tolerate in reverse-biased mode is 10V over a continuous period of time. When reverse-biased, the photodiodes should not continually exceed 10V. When photodiodes operate, they should not be subjected to temperatures higher than 80°C. The minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes, however, should be set to -20°C.
