VBP104FAS Overview

A Digi-Reel? package protects these photodiodes from damage. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in 2-SMD, Gull Wing packages for safety purposes. A continuous voltage of 60V should not be applied to the photodiodes in reverse-bias mode. Pins 2 are present on the photodiodes. In circuits containing photodiodes, 215mW heat may be released from the photodiodes. It should be 60V for the reverse anode voltage of the photodiodes. It is generally recommended that the maximum heat released by photodiodes should be 215mW in a circuit. Photodiodes can work properly at 60V reverse voltage in the DC circuit. The voltage needed to get current to flow across a photodiode should be 1.3V. It's best to have the breakdown voltage at 60V to make sure the photodiodes work. The current in a photodiode is 2nA even when there is no light input.
