VBP104S Overview

Designed to protect these photodiodes against damage, these photodiodes are packaged in the Digi-Reel?. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in 2-SMD, Gull Wing packages. As long as the photodiodes are operated in reverse-bias mode, they should not exceed voltage 60V. 2 is the number of pins on the photodiodes. Within the circuit, photodiodes are capable of releasing 215mW heat. For the photodiodes, the reverse anode voltage should be 60V. Generally, a circuit's maximum heat release should be 215mW. It is possible for the photodiodes in the DC circuit to operate under reverse voltage of 60V. A photodiode must be operated at 1.3V to carry current. Photodiodes need a breakdown voltage of 60V. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 2nA current.
