VEMD10940F Overview
A Cut Tape (CT) package protects these photodiodes from damage. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in 2-SMD, No Lead packages. Under reverse-bias mode, the voltage of the photodiodes should not exceed 60V. There are 2 pins on the photodiodes. During the operation of a circuit, photodiodes can release 104mW heat. A reverse anode voltage of 60V should be applied to the photodiodes. With the reverse voltage of 60V, the photodiodes in the DC circuit can work properly. In order to get current to flow across a photodiode, there must be a voltage of 1V. Without light, a photodiode has 1nA current.
