VNQ5050AK-E is a type of quad channel high side driver with an analog current sense for automotive applications, which is designed by STMicroelectronics based on VIPower M0-5 technology. Low energy spikes can be avoided due to its active VCC pin voltage clamp and the device can be protected in overload conditions based on output current limitation. The dissipated power can be limited to a safe level up to thermal shutdown intervention on the condition of long overload duration.
